ECKA Bletchley Dragons Club Annual Awards 2009 (20th December 2009)
Following the annual fitness test the ECKA Bletchley Dragons Karate Club celebrated a fantastic year! In addition to 47 belts earnt this year through gradings the following students were recognised for their efforts:
2009 Best fighter, Most Improved - Henry Stockwell
Henry won the Semi-Contact National Championships this year and came runner-up in the Light Continuous Nationals. In addition to this he won both the Semi-Contact and Light Continuous categories in the ECKA Milton Keynes Open tournament. A fantastic year for which Henry can continue to build upon!

Henry - 2009 Most Improved Fighter
2009 Best fighter, Most Achievements - Robyn Vaughan
There was only one contender for this award this year. With an incredible tally of two National Championship titles (in Semi-contact and Light Continuous), winning the double in both fighting categories in the ECKA Milton Keynes Open tournament and also winning the Semi-Contact Milton Keynes Interclub! Robyn really has had a fantastic year, unbeaten in all competitions!
2009 Best attendance - Emma Ridge
For the second year running, Emma Ridge has attended more classes than anyone else in the club, so picks up her own trophy and retains the club shield for another year.
2009 Fitness Test - Winner: Henry Stockwell
With an impressive overall score of 238, Henry "The machine" once again won the Bletchley Dragons club fitness test!
In second place, was Chris Warwick with 194 and in third place was Casey Hodges with 182.
