ECKA Bletchley Dragons Club Annual Awards 2010
Due to the problems with the snow grinding most of Bletchley and Milton Keynes to a halt for the last class of 2009, the annual awards and fitness test were held on the first class of 2011, 9th January!
In addition to 51 new belts earnt this year (including 4 1st Dan black belts, 1 3rd Dan and a 4th Dan) through gradings the following students were recognised for their efforts:
2010 Best New Fighter - Kelly Hodges
Kelly started her competing career in 2010 by winning in the Semi-contact categories in both the ECKA National Championships and the ECKA Milton Keynes Open! Hopefully her unbeaten run will continue through 2011 and beyond...

2010 Best Fighter - Henry Stockwell
Following a fantastic result in 2009, Henry continued to excel in competitions through 2010! Despite a tricky day at the semi-contact Nationals, Henry managed to win the Milton Keynes Interclub, won both the Semi-Contact and Light Continuous categories in the ECKA Milton Keynes Open competition and manage to pick up 3rd place in both the ECKA National Championships and ICO British Champtionships for Light Continuous!

Having put in a huge amount of training to achieve his 1st dan black belt, Mark Hodges topped the attendance table for 2010, so wins the trophy and keeps the shield for the next year.

Winner: Henry Stockwell
For the third year in a row, Henry "The machine" Stockwell puts in a huge amount of effort to once again win the Bletchley Dragons club fitness test!
This year, in second place, was Felix Lum and in third place (and highest placed adult) was Paul Stroud.
