Northants Open - February 2026

Great to have a small number of Bletchley Dragons students join a strong ECKA team at the Northants open on the 1st February.

Owen was up first, winning 3 fights out of 4 and only losing in a sudden death fight off. He did enough to win the category overall and taking his first competition victory!

Next up was Nugget who fought his heart out against some class opponents, unfortunately he had a few decisions not go his way and didn’t place in this one.

Damian fought next in Light Continuous and then Points, stepping up a level for the first time, with some close decisions he gained some great experience but no medal.

Last up was Mia, fighting around 7:30 in the evening, she was bumped up from the novice section to be fighting against black belt and much more experienced fighters in her category. She fought so well, also in his first open tournament at this level, and managed to get 3rd place.
